Sur-lee during the vinification process develops textual flavor balancing acidity and fruitfulness.
TASTING NOTE
Initial attack to palate with citrus character: lemon and grapefruits then develops to stone ripen fruits like lychee and melon along with freshness of green apple and pear. The taste can be expressed so humble and light-bodied white, that particularly and perfectly matches with Japanese culinary style and ingredients.

This winery was officially established in 1959 by the local fruit growers in Enzan region (currently in Koshu city), Yamanashi prefecture. As well as wine grapes, a fruit growing industry for table grapes and peaches was developed just after the world war II in this region, then this winery started vinification with their local grown grapes at that time. Recently they produce wines from grapes grown both in their estate and contracted vineyards. This winery focuses on Japanese cultivars representing Koshu, while not growing any of European vinifera grapes.
